Cottleville

Cottleville, MO is a small town located on the eastern bank of the Mississippi River in St. Louis County. It is in the county seat of Webster and is approximately 15 miles from downtown St. Louis. The population of Cottleville was about 3,000 in the 2020 census. Cottleville has a population of around 1.5 million and is known for its close-knit community. The town of Cottleville was formed as a community in the 1950’s. Most of the older buildings in this community are historical landmarks. The first business to open in this area was a lumber mill which later became a popular attraction for tourists. This type of business is common in areas with a high population density.
