Ferguson Neighborhood – An Overview

Ferguson, MO is a mid-sized community located in St. Louis county, Missouri. It’s part of the larger Greater St. Louis metro area. The population was 20,717 at the last census. The community has a very unique layout that distinguishes it from other neighborhoods. In addition to the main street and shopping areas, you’ll find Ferguson to have an unusual layout, which is also unique to this community. You will notice that this community has a very large central street, which are usually one of the main thoroughfares in the community, and a number of smaller streets, as well. There are two major intersections on this main street. One is located in front of Ferguson Middle School, the other is in front of a small strip mall. You can walk down the middle of this street for many blocks, and you’ll be able to see what the other streets are like. These streets are very interesting because they’re not straight lines. You’ll find the streets that run through the middle of this community are not used every day, but they can sometimes be found on the main street of this neighborhood. You can find many schools in this community, including a school that is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. This neighborhood is very close to downtown St. Louis. You can take a ride on one of the buses that goes to downtown on a daily basis, or you can walk to the end of the main street, which will bring you right into downtown.
